Project Overview
A large dome-style shade sail was constructed over the playing field at Pt Chevalier School as a design-build project, providing a safe, shaded space for students. The work was carried out around the busy school campus and outside school hours to minimise disruption while maintaining the existing asphalt surface.

LM Consulting managed the design-build project from planning to completion, coordinating contractors and maintaining close communication with the school to ensure smooth progress. The team also oversaw compliance and building consent requirements.
Outcome
The new shade sail provides a durable, functional, and inviting outdoor space for students. Completed on time and to a high standard, the project has been well-received by the school community and enhances opportunities for outdoor learning and play.
